“Central Asia Smart City” Project to Be Implemented in Strategic Partnership with Private Sector Companies of Turkic States
Under the financial sponsorship of The Assembly of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a strategic partnership protocol and memorandum of understanding (MoU) have been signed with one of the leading consultancy firms in the Turkic Countries region – ROK Uluslararası Danışmanlık A.Ş. (Turkiye) – for the promotion and implementation of the mega-project “Central Asia Smart City”, through broad cooperation with private sector companies of the Turkic States.
This initiative aims to create a new-generation urban center that combines modern urbanization, technological advancement, and green infrastructure — positioning Uzbekistan as a future economic, technological, and logistics hub in the region.
🌐 Project Description
“Central Asia Smart City” will be developed on a total area of 6,400 hectares, designed as a smart, green, and sustainable urban ecosystem.
The city aims to deliver:
- Modern housing for 300,000 residents
- 510,000 permanent job opportunities
- Direct and indirect economic benefits for 1.5 million people
