Uzbekistan Launches Local Production of Industrial Kitchen Equipment with “Made in Uzbekistan” Label

A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the The Economy Assembly of the Uzbekistan (Assambleya) and Turkish company CASPI GROUP A.Ş. (Caspi Cuisine) under the CENTRAL ASIA SMART CITY project.
For the first time, industrial kitchen equipment will be manufactured in Uzbekistan bearing the “Made in Uzbekistan” certification. This initiative is expected to boost local manufacturing, generate employment, and open doors for international export.
Key cooperation areas include:
- Establishing production facilities using Turkish expertise and technology,
- Training and employing local workforce,
- Designing and installing kitchen infrastructure for hotels, hospitals, and social facilities,
- Promoting the Caspi Cuisine brand for both domestic and international markets.
This partnership marks a transformative step for Uzbekistan’s industrial development and strengthens Turkish-Uzbek ties in high-tech manufacturing.
